Althea Grace captivates audiences with the rawness of her lyrics, the soul in her guitar playing and the uniqueness of her voice.
The now London based singer/song-writer, launched her career as a young child in Chicago. She spent the last 5 years in Los Angeles, dedicated to her music, and the many artists she supported on guitar and bass, before relocating to London. She has lent her songwriting skills, powerful vocals and crafted guitar work on several notable projects. During her exciting run on American Idol, Lionel Richie told Althea: “You have a cut through voice!”
Althea takes her roots of blues and rock. attempting to fit in with the new, modern pop music. She likes to note, “Like The Faces or The Beatles were called pop!”
Althea has notably opened tours for Colin Hay of ‘Men at Work’, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Arc Angel’s own Doyle Bramhall II, Los Lobos, Leann Womack and many others.

Althea was featured on the Los Lobos version of the Shins’ song “The Fear”. When she’s not on stage, she’s in the studio writing for artists like Doyle Bramhall II; her most recent writing credit being Doyle’s song Everything You Need featuring Eric Clapton.
